Alaska Airlines Care Summit, 2021

With all the new challenges Covid created for air travel and customer facing airline employees in particular, Alaska Airlines wanted to create an immersive and experiential training event that would welcome a couple hundred of their workers at a time for three-day sessions. The training would eventually cycle through all employees and be in operation for over a year. It was designed to be a break from the anxiety of pandemic travel; a place to recharge; a place where people would be given tools to excel despite the stress; a place where the intangible value of the care, empathy and kindness displayed to passengers was put in the spotlight to be acknowledged and rewarded.
