Center for Recorded Music

Conceptual design for an immersive aural experience. A purpose-built environment to hear legendary and contemporary studio recordings played through the world’s best audio equipment in a performance venue with the acoustics of a concert hall. The event space will function in an educational capacity by day showcasing the evolution of music, audio equipment and studios from Edison’s phonograph, radio, mid-century hi-fi through today’s most advanced audiophile components. At night the Center will function as a nightclub and concert venue mixing DJs with special vinyl listening events.
